Green or red amaranth leaves subzi is regular in my home and I love to try different things with this leaves. I made this subzi with Maize Flour. I used Corn puttu podi which easily available in Kerala.

Ingredients

10 minutes
3-4 servings
  1. 1 cupMaize Flour
  2. 1 tbspoil
  3. 1 tspAsafoetida
  4. 9-10garlic
  5. 1 tbspred chilli powder, garlic chutney
  6. 1 cupgreen Amaranth leaves
  7. 1/2 tspSalt

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Add oil in a pan. Once oil is hot, add chopped garlic and Asafoetida. Add red chilli powder, garlic chutney. Saute for some time. Add amaranth leaves and salt.

    Mix it well. Cover the pan and cook on low flame. Open the lid and add maize flour. Sprinkle some water. Mix it well. Serve hot with Roti.
