Okro, anara and ugba soup

This soup is so nutritious. As a health conscious person I always try to eat healthy and feed my family with nutritious meals. My children are on holiday now so I need to boost their immune system with nutritious food. Hence, the idea of the above meal. Okro has many health benefits that helps children development too. Anara leaf (garden egg) is 100% blood booster and replenishes lost nutrients. Ugba (oil bean) is very protenious.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash and season the meat with half onion ball, 2 stock cubes and salt 1 teaspoon. Boil for 30mins. When the meat is okay add the palm oil, let meat stock be the only water (except you desire more).
- 2
Add crayfish, iru, pepper, salt to taste, stock and dry fish, ugba. Allow to simmer for 20mins.
- 3
Wash and chop the anara leaves pour into the pot. Stir for 30seconds and turn off the heat immediately.
- 4
Now food is ready. Waooo, so yummy and nutritious, is worth a try. Thank you

Okro soup with ogbono Okro soup with ogbono
#Ashlab.Okro soup has been one of the most easiest and quickest soup to prepare.some argue that okro takes a lot of time and energy to make, but for me I used the blender method to blend my okro and ogbonno due to the fact that I don’t like the smell that comes from ogbonno,So blending it together with the okro removes the smell and also gives it a nice taste. It’s known as miyan kubewa in Hausa.I love everything about okro soup mixed with ogbonno, especially that part of draw, which makes it fun while eating. Blending your belly pepper, chilly pepper with the garlic, onions and cray fish gives the paste a nice aroma and also taste.Least I forget I used the processed okro because I couldn’t get the fresh okro here .You can cut spinach and add to your okro soup.Don’t forget to wash your hands before you start cooking and also wash all the veggies that needs to be washed. A taste of traditional Chicken Soup with Rice A taste of traditional Chicken Soup with Rice
This is soup season with the cold coming in strong what better comfort food to have than soup. So many different recipes for Chicken soup, I find it so difficult to choose which one is or could be my favorite. This soup is so different from the others because I have tweaked it slightly so by adding bay leaf, and I have not added any vegetables because I wanted the taste from the bay leaf to stand out from the rest of the ingredients. Short Rib French Onion Soup Short Rib French Onion Soup
I made this recipe to give a dark rich French onion soup base, with an actual short rib per serving. Many recipes online give watery bland soups, with shredded beef that I think defeats the purpose of spending the time braising short ribs. I also think that adding flour to the soup to give it body mutes the flavor and turns it more to a stew or gravy. Instead, I found adding gelatin to give the soup body was a better choice. I also found that using cubed toasted sourdough instead of the traditional cross cut baguette provided a bread with more toothsome chew and fits in the crocks better. Lance Wilson
