Crunch cabbage with bacon is a popular dish in my house. It's easy to cook and a great match for white rice.

* If you like very spicy food, you can add hot pepper in during step 2.
The taste will be spicier.

Ingredients

3-4 people
  1. 1/2of green cabbage, chopped into bite size
  2. 3 slicesbacon, cut into small pieces
  3. 2 clovesgarlic, smashed
  4. 2hot pepper (optional), cut into small pieces
  5. ~~ Seasoning ~~
  6. 1 tsprice wine
  7. 1/2 tspsalt
  8. 1 tspmaple syrup
  9. 1 tspwhite vinegar
  10. 1 Tbspwater

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Rinse a pan with water. Heat the wet pan on medium-low heat. When the pan is dry, put bacon in (don't need any cooking oil)

    Stir fry till bacon turns brown. Then add garlic and rice wine.

  3. 3

    Turn heat to medium-high. Put cabbage in and quickly stir-fry everything together. Then, add 1 Tbsp water and cover with a lid. Cook about 1 minute.

    Continue stir-fry few seconds then seasoning with hot pepper, salt, maple syrup, and white vinegar then mix well. Enjoy~~
