Churos 😋

Cooking Instructions
- 1
In a pot add butter, brown sugar, water and bring to boil (this is done so as to reduce the flour smell)
- 2
Add 120g flour and stir using a wooden spoon until it mixes evenly. This should take about 5 mins
- 3
When cooled add 1tsp vanilla essence
- 4
Add two eggs; one at a time (place each of the eggs once the flour is cooled down to avoid having scrambled eggs churros)
- 5
Place a frying pan with just enough cooking oil to fry the churros
- 6
Using a pipping bag make the shape you desire
- 7
Place them in the pan cutting the end of each strand using a knife or pair of scissors
- 8
Keep turning and when they become golden brown, take them out and place on paper towel for excess oil absorption
- 9
Meanwhile mix the 1/2 cup sugar and 1TBSP cinnamon for the coating
- 10
Finish off with coating the churros
- 11

Golden and Crisp: Spanish Churros Golden and Crisp: Spanish Churros
Golden and crisp on the outside, pillowy and soft on the inside, churros are strings of deep-fried dough pastry. Traditional in Spain and Portugal, churros are dusted with sugar and are often served with hot chocolate or dulce de leche, but are good to be had by themselves, as well.A dessert that I can have unlimited refills of, without feeling guilty, even for a bit, churros are super simple to make and with my recipe, turn out to be brilliant each time. Churros Dough Made in the Microwave with Soy Milk and Brown Sugar (Japanese-Style Flavors) Churros Dough Made in the Microwave with Soy Milk and Brown Sugar (Japanese-Style Flavors)
I've made cream puff pastry in the microwave by following the recipe on the microwave manual. I thought I could make churros dough in the microwave, so I tried it out. Just making regular churros dough was boring, so I tried making it with soy milk and dark brown sugar. If you use sugar and milk instead of brown sugar and soy milk, it will be regular churros. :) Use a star nozzle to pipe. I've heard the dough would swell and burst during deep frying if you don't use a star nozzle... Recipe by ms mama cookpad.japan
