Breakfast Quiche

Once a while, I get cravings for something savory in buttery pie crust. When the craving hit me again Sunday morning, I turned the ingredients for a mushroom cheese omelette into a quiche. Just add pie crust :)

Once a while, I get cravings for something savory in buttery pie crust. When the craving hit me again Sunday morning, I turned the ingredients for a mushroom cheese omelette into a quiche. Just add pie crust :)
Cooking Instructions

Fry bacon in skillet until crisp. Set aside.

Melt butter in the same skillet. Add onions and cook for a few minutes, then add mushrooms and cook until soft. Salt mixture to taste. Set aside to cool.

In a large bowl, beat eggs with cream. Add grated cheese, salt and pepper.

Add mushroom mixture into egg/cream mixture. Stir together. Add bacon and stir. Add parsley, mix.

Bake for 35 minutes, then remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow to set for ten minutes before serving.
