Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 8large parsnips
  2. salt
  3. 1knob of butter
  4. pinchfreshly ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the parsnips and cut length ways then in half.

    Bring to the boil in a pot of salted water.

  3. 3

    Boil for around 15 minutes or until done.

  4. 4

    Drain well.

  5. 5

    Mash the parsnips and add back into the pot.

  6. 6

    Add a knob of butter, a pinch of salt and the black pepper. Stir well.

  7. 7

    Stir the mash over a low heat.

  8. 8

    Check seasoning is to your liking.

  9. 9

    Serve immediately.
