Ingredients

  1. 1boneless sirloin steak (or your preferred cut of meat), sliced
  2. 1/2carrot, diced small
  3. 1potato, quartered
  4. 1/4onion, sliced
  5. 1 clovegarlic, finely chopped
  6. 2hot dogs, sliced
  7. 1jalapeño, sliced
  8. 2 tablespoonsbutter
  9. 1 splashoil
  10. 1lime (zest)
  11. 1lime (juice)
  12. Salt and pepper to taste
  13. 1/4bouillon cube
  14. Tomato sauce to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

In a pan, heat the butter. Once it's melted, add the garlic, onion, carrot, and potato. Let them cook well with some salt and pepper.

  2. 2

When they are almost ready, add the hot dog slices and let everything cook thoroughly. Once done, remove from the pan.

  3. 3

With the pan empty again, add a splash of oil and your meat (you can use your preferred cut, steak, thin cut, etc.) with some more salt and pepper. When it's almost done, add the tomato sauce depending on how much broth you want.

  4. 4

When it starts to simmer, add the side vegetables and the jalapeño. Let everything cook well.

  5. 5

Once ready, remove from heat and serve. I served it with rice soup and flour tortillas.
