Chinese Celery with Pork Soup

Ingredients

  1. 1 bunchChinese celery (cut into 4 inch)
  2. 2carrots (chopped)
  3. 5red dates
  4. 500 gramspork ribs
  5. 1 pinchsalt (to taste)
  6. 3 clovegarlic (lightly bruised)
  7. 2 literwater
  8. 2 tbspsoya sauce (to taste)

Cooking Instructions

    Blanch the pork rib in boiling water for about 5 mins. Wash it with cold water afterwards.

    In a large pot, combine pork rib, water, salt, carrots, red dates, garlic. Bring it to boil and cook for about 5 mins.

    Lower the heat and close the lid. Let it simmer for 1.5-2.5 hours.

    Add Chinese celery in and cook for another 5 mins.

  5. 5

    Season with salt or soya sauce. Ready to serve.

Living in Dublin with my Irish partner who is celiac. My recipes are Gluten Free (GF). Most of my recipes are Asian food and I use soya sauce a lot in them. Regular soya sauce is not GF, but you can get GF one from supermarkets.
