Very easy dish and the flavour is to die for. It is a real go to recipe when pressed for time and you want a delicious hearty dinner.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Dust beef strips in flour, shake off any excess. Melt half the butter in a large fry pan and cook beef in batches until seared all over. Remove and set aside.
- 2
Add the rest off the butter and fry onion and garlic until softened.
- 3
Add mushys and cook for a further 2 or 3 minutes.
- 4
Stir in beef stock, paprika, tomato paste and worcestershire sauce. Season with sea salt and cracked black pepper and allow to simmer for 5 minutes or so- sauce will thicken slightly.
- 5
Return the beef (with any juices) and stir in sour cream and simmer for another minute. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve on pasta or rice. Enjoy!

I have been craving beef stroganoff for a few weeks now so i decided to go ahead and make it for dinner. You can use any type of steak for this recipe, i had some prime cuts of ribeye that i got from my butcher for a cookout a couple weeks ago for an awesome price, i recommend him to everybody(this is a shameful plug but Latin American grocery and meat market located at 516 SE 47th Terrace Cape Coral, Fl 33904)tell him i sent you, you wont get a discount but at least he know i showed love! Also as opposed to egg noodles that beef stroganoff recipes call for im using penne. Because its raining and i dont feel like going to the store
