Ingredients

  1. Chicken
  2. Cow meat
  3. Grinded groundnut/dried pepper
  4. Fresh pepper
  5. Crayfish
  6. leafBitter
  7. Palm oil
  8. Onion
  9. Salt/seasoning

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Boil chicken with fresh pepper and onions, add salt and seasoning and allow to boil for 5mins (chicken should not be too tender)

  2. 2

Here is the cow meat, I put mine in the fridge, that's why everything is blocked in the pic

  3. 3

Set the grinded groundnut/dry pepper for the soup aside.

  4. 4

This is the washed bitter leaf for the soup...i don't like my bitter leaf too bitter, so I added little potash in the water to aid the washing.

  5. 5

Put the chicken stock on fire, add palm oil to it, add the cow meat, cover and allow to boil for a while

  6. 6

Add the grinded groundnut, and stir to combine all the ingredients.

  7. 7

Add the washed bitter leaf to the soup and stir.

  8. 8

Time for the chicken to go in. Taste for some salt and seasoning cubes, add if necessary

  9. 9

Add the crayfish and stir... Cover and allow to boil for few minutes

  10. 10

Your sumptuous groundnut soup is ready to go with any swallow of your choice. 😋😋😋

  11. 11

All the chicken and cow meat sunk to the bottom of the soup... 😂
