- 5
After 20 minutes, the Ogbono should be well cooked and you will begin to perceive its nice flavour and aroma.
- 6
When the contents of the pot have heated up, add the vegetable allow to cook for 2minutes and take off the stove. Serve with garri or any swallow

Palm nut soup/ ofe akwu Palm nut soup/ ofe akwu
I love food lol but my favorite soup of all, is this beautiful palm nut soup. The flavor of the palm nut is indescribable and delicious 😋! The palm tree is just amazing that you can get wine from it and it’s no low class wine either! Palm oil is a must for a lot of Igbo dishes and of course the palm nut soup 🍜 is time consuming but so worth it ! ifuchi -
Coto Makassar / Beef Soup Coto Makassar / Beef Soup
This is Coto Makassar or beef soup in peanut gravy, it is made from beef and beef tripe, a famous Indonesian traditional food originating from Makassar, South Sulawesi. This dish traditionally serves with ketupat or buras or just with steamed white rice. And Indonesians love to eat this coto with sambal tauco (chili sauce with fermented soy bean). I did not make the sambal tauco this time because I added some chilies in my gravy. So, this coto was already spicy. Wiwik Sunariyah
