Ingredients

7 servings
  1. 2center-cut bacon slices, diced
  2. 1/3 cshallots, finely chopped
  3. 1 Tbutter
  4. 1 lbBrussels sprouts, trimmed, halved and thinly sliced (5 cups)
  5. 1/4 cfat-free, low-sodium chicken broth
  6. 1 Tred wine vinegar
  7. 1/2 tspblack pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Cook bacon in large skillet 3 min. stirring often. Remove bacon, reserving drippings in skillet.

    Add shallots to drippings and saute until lightly browned.

  3. 3

    Add butter and sprouts, saute 3 min.

  4. 4

    Add broth, saute 2 min.

  5. 5

    Stir in vinegar. Remove from heat. Stir in pepper and sprinkle with bacon.
