Ingredients

  1. 3 1/2 cupsflour
  2. Egg (optional)
  3. 4 tbssugar
  4. 1/2 tspcinnamon or nutmeg
  5. 1 tbsmilk
  6. 3 tbsbutter
  7. 1 tspyeast

Cooking Instructions

    Sift all dry ingredients

  2. 2

    Add sugar and warm water to form a dough

  3. 3

    Add butter after forming a dough and kneed properly or untill light

  4. 4

    Cut into sizes and roll out round or use a doughnut cutter

  5. 5

    Cover and allow to rise

  6. 6

    Fry in a pot and the oil shouldn't be very hot before you put in your doughnut

  7. 7

    Fry and flip regularly until golden brown

  8. 8

    Mix cinnamon and sugar and dab your doughnut on it as shown in the pic.
