Ingredients

  1. 2 cupssemolina/semovita
  2. 4 cupswater
  3. 2 cupswater
  4. 1 tspveg oil
  5. 1/2 TSPsalt

    Get ready with your ingredients

    Measure two cups of semo in a bowl and add salt

  3. 3

    Pour 2 cups of water into d semo,mix with wooden spoon till it mix well

  4. 4

    Now,place a pot of 4 cups of water on heat,add veg oil and allow it boil

  5. 5

    Immediately it boils,remove 1 cup of the boiled water set aside,add in the semo mixture and turn it with wooden spoon immediately, kip on turning till thick,it will b very soft and keep turning to avoid lumps

    Then after stirring it,then u add the 1 cup of boiled water to it,place it on heat again,cover it and allow it cook for the second time,it will be so soft and smooth

    Then u remove from heat and turn it again,kip on turning untill done

    Scoop one spoonful of semo in a nylon,depending the shape of your choice, tie it,allow It rest to gain a solid texture and set aside

    After dat, serve.I served mine with Egusi soup

    Note:do not add any powered semo,use the exert Recipe I posted here.Thou,it will be vry soft at first,but wen u wrap it in a nylon and allow it rest in a cooler,it gona bcome solid
