Ingredients

  1. Yam
  2. Salt
  3. Red oil
  4. Onion
  5. leafUtazi
  6. Seasoning
  7. Scotch bonnet

Cooking Instructions

    Cut yam with the back into desired size

  2. 2

    Put under coal pot and allow to roast until it is soft, turn the yam time to time to avoid getting burnt

  3. 3

    When the yam is done scrap off the back using a knife

  4. 4

    For the sauce. in a pan, add red oil, onions grinded scotch bonnet, seasoning, salt and allow to fry for a few minutes then add the chopped utazi leafs and serve
