Ingredients

  1. 1 cuppoha (flattened rice)
  2. 2potatoes boiled & mashed
  3. 2green chillies chopped
  4. 1/2" ginger chopped
  5. 3-4garlic cloves chopped
  6. 1onion chopped
  7. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  8. 1/2 tspchilli powder
  9. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  10. 1/2 tspcoriander powder
  11. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  12. 1/2 tspchaat masala
  13. To tastesalt
  14. 2 tspcornflour
  15. 2 tbspcrushed peanuts
  16. 2 tbspchopped coriander leaves
  17. As needed Oil for deep frying

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the poha well with enough water. Drain off the water and leave the poha for 5-7 minutes to make it soft.

    Transfer the soaked poha into a mixing bowl. Add in mashed potato, chopped onion, chopped green chilli, chopped ginger and garlic, turmeic powder, chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala and salt.

    Additionally add corn flour, crushed peanuts and coriander leaves.

    Mix everything well to make a soft and smooth dough.

    Divide the dough into 8-10 equal portions and give them to cutlet shape or a desired shape of your choice.

    Deep fry the cutlets in hot oil until golden brown over a low medium flame.

    Remove them on an absorbent paper and then transfer them to a serving plate.

  8. 8

    Serve them hot with any kind of sauce or chutney.
