Nimki is an all time favorite as a Bengali snack.it is a savory crispy crunchy deep fried mouth watering dish mad with moida..often enjoyed it with evening tea or coffee .

Cooking Instructions

Take one large bowl and combine moida, black cumin seeds, salt, sugar, oil.mix well everything.

Add water little by little to make a stiff dough by kneading well.cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Now knead the dough again and divide into two portion and make a ball
- 4
Roll each dough into a thin circle and apply ghee, moida on the circle.

Now start rolling the paratha from end to the other. Cut the roll into even size about 1 inch.

Now take one pinwheel and roll into a small poori. First Fold into a half size moon second fold into cone shaped nimki.

Heat oil in pan and when it gets hot,bring the flame to medium.. start frying them in batches.each batches take about 15 minutes.frying both side until bring brown colour.

Crispy crunchy nimki /Namkeen is ready.let cool them completely and stir in an air tight box for 1 month more.
