Ingredients

  • Thandai masala:
  • 60 gmschopped almonds
  • 10cashew nuts
  • 1 tbspmuskmelon seeds
  • 1 tbsppoppy seeds(khus-khus)
  • 1 tbspfennel seeds(saunf)
  • 5-6green cardamoms
  • 6-8black peppercorns
  • As neededRose petals (optional)
  • (grind everything coarsely)
  • Nankhatai base
  • 1/2 cupsolidified ghee
  • 1/2 cuppowder sugar
  • 1 cupmaida
  • 1/4 cupbesan
  • Pinchsalt
  • 2 tbsprose water
  • 5-6pistachio for garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven at 180°c,

  2. 2

    Cream together ghee and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. 3

    Add other dry ingredients, mix lightly using hands and form a dough

  4. 4

    Prepare small round balls and make a cross mark using knife, sprinkle some pistachio on it

  5. 5

    Bake in a preheated oven at 180°c for 15-20 min until light golden in colour.

  6. 6

    Remove from oven and let them cook completely. Serve with tea/coffee. Enjoy. HAPPY BAKING☺️
