I almost always make sausage gravy, but this morning I didn’t have sausage. But I ALWAYS have bacon! And now...I may be making bacon gravy more often!

In a deep skillet over medium-high heat, cook bacon until crispy (6-7 mins)

Brad's bacon breaded pork cutlet with apple cider gravy Brad's bacon breaded pork cutlet with apple cider gravy
Since this was a weekday meal I didn't have time to make the gravy from scratch. If you prefer to, use half and half cider and water. Then add bouillon and thicken. wingmaster835 -
Bacon and Tofu stir-fry in Japanese Style gravy Bacon and Tofu stir-fry in Japanese Style gravy
Japanese style stir-fry with gravy (It's called "An-kake, pronounced "kakay"). Made with whatever I found in the fridge. You can use any vegetable or meat for this dish. I used home-made bacon to add flavor, but you can omit it if you are vegetarian. I would have added mushrooms if I had them. The gravy (An) is usually made with potato starch as a thickener, but you can use corn starch (or corn flour) if you don't have it. By the way, "kake" means to "pour over" so an-kake is a dish with gravy on it. Miyuki Suyari -

Sausage Gravy Sausage Gravy
I wanted to make some gravy sauce for meat, and while I was looking on the internet for ideas, I found sausage gravy. This is my original version, that I came up with after a bit of experimentation.Be sure not to take your eyes off the pan, keeping watch so that it doesn't burn. Other than that, it's easy. Add the milk bit by bit until it reaches your desired consistency. You can also add in your favorite vegetables, or make it just using sausage, butter, flour, and milk.
