Steps

In a vessel take oil add chopped methi leaves and saute till soft. Add water and cook soft.

Add cooked dal add water, salt and bring to boil.

In a tadka pan heat 2 -3 tsp oil add mustard, cumin and chopped garlic. Let it become brown. Then switch off the flame. Take the tadka pan down and add red chilli powder and pour over dal.

Ready to serve hot with hot rice.
