Ingredients

4 serving
  • 3 tspghee
  • 1 piececinnamon stick
  • 4cardamom
  • 4cloves
  • 2black cardamom
  • 1bay leaf
  • 12cashews
  • 10raisins
  • 1 1/2 cupbasmati rice soaked and drained
  • 1 cupfried onions
  • 2 cupwater
  • pinchsaffron threads
  • 1 tspginger powder
  • 1 tspfennel seeds
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    In a pan add ghee.When ghee melts add masalas except ginger powder.Add cashewsand rasins.When they becomesvgolden brown add ginger powder.

    Then add rice and mix well. Add 3/4 cup onion fried.

    Add salt,saffron threads and water.Close lid and keep this until rice gets cooked.

    Serve with roasted dry fruits,onion,pomegranite pearls and coriander leaves.
