Can be made - just as little plain bread's,or as the snack Dessert of Icing Sugar - heavily dusted on small square,or rectangular doughnuts - is a French Doughnut, don't know if they give them a filling - apple puree in the raw Doughnut dough - before deep frying - I only mention it,because I have seen People on TV Cookery Shows - do it that way and may even use Baking Powder - instead of Powdered Yeast,or the other kind of Yeast.Have made beignets twice before - in little bread form's,from only using Bread Flour - and for a cake based Doughnut,I only used Plain Flour. Is easy too make - if you know how too make homemade bread - for you just add the extra ingredients of some - whole hen eggs and some extra butter - or butter too your lightly oiled bread dough mix.
