Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsrice
  2. 1 cupurad dal
  3. Salt to taste
  4. 2 pinchesbaking soda
  5. For the masala
  6. 4raw bananas
  7. 1bell pepper
  8. 4green chilies
  9. 10curry leaves
  10. 2 tablespoonscilantro
  11. 8-10mint leaves
  12. 3 tablespoonsoil
  13. 1/4 teaspoonturmeric
  14. 1/4 teaspoondry mango powder
  15. 1/2 teaspoongaram masala
  16. Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

    First, wash the urad dal and rice, then soak them separately. After 7-8 hours, grind them.

    Now, boil the raw bananas and mash them. Heat oil in a pan and add green chilies, curry leaves, asafoetida, and turmeric. Sauté the bell pepper. Then add the mashed bananas, garam masala, dry mango powder, and salt to prepare the masala.

    Finely mix the cilantro and mint leaves. Now, add salt and baking soda to the batter to make a medium-thin consistency. Spread it on a griddle.

    Spread the banana mixture evenly and add oil. Roast on both sides. The healthy hara masala dosa is ready.
