Today's recipe is 'Drumstick Paratha'. Recently our honorable Prime Minister Sri. Narendra Modi told he regularly eat drumstick leaves paratha to increase his immunity. Today I prepared this recipe with a little variation to make it a little more healthy. We can prepare this paratha using wheat flour, ragi flour, or any other millet flours.
Drumstick Leaves:

Drumstick leaves are also known as 'Moringa'. It reduces blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol. Also, it has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. If we eat regularly it helps in blood circulation. It is rich in iron, calcium, potassium, zinc, magnesium, copper, folic acid, vitamin C, The, and E. Promote hair growth and prevents hair loss.
Ragi:
====
It is gluten-free and has low natural fat which helps in weight loss. It is rich in fiber and good for diabetes. It has a good amount of calcium, good carbs, amino acids, and Vit The. It helps in increasing hemoglobin levels in the blood. For
Non-vegetarians egg is a good source of protein. In the same way for vegetarians, ragi is rich in proteins. The presence of magnesium prevents hair loss. Younger age people can intake ragi on regular basis. But other than them should take in measured servings.

Steps
- 1
In a mixing bowl add ragi flour.
- 2
To that add salt, green chillies, onion, washed drumstick leaves and mix it well.
- 3
Sprinkle water and knead it to a dough.
- 4
Grease oil on the cover or silver foil and take a small dumpling from the dough and press it using our palms on the dough to make it as paratha.
- 5
Heat tawa, remove the paratha from cover and place it on tawa.
- 6
Sprinkle oil and Cook both sides in medium flame. Our drumstick paratha is ready to serve.
- 7
If we add wheat flour instead of ragi we can roll it using rolling pin. Sprinkle water while kneading the dough otherwise it will stick to the cover even if we grease with oil. If we want extra flavours we can add chopped ginger, coriander leaves, garam masala, turmeric it's up to our taste.
Try it and enjoy it...
