Ingredients

  1. Seer Fish 750 grm
  2. 2 tspTurmeric powder
  3. 2 tbsChilli powder
  4. Lime 1big
  5. 4 cupsBasmati rice
  6. 2 stickCinnamon
  7. 6Cardamom
  8. Bay leaf 3
  9. Clove8
  10. 5Star anise
  11. 2 pieceRock flower
  12. 2 tbsGinger garlic paste
  13. Onion 5 (Thinly sliced)
  14. Tomato 6 (cut into 4)
  15. Green chilli 8 (slit)
  16. Mint leaves 2 handful
  17. Coriander leaves 2 handful
  18. For biriyani masala
  19. Nutmeg 1small piece
  20. 3 pieceMace
  21. Clove5
  22. Cinnamon stick 1
  23. 5Cardamon
  24. 1 pieceMace
  25. 160 mlOil
  26. 3 tbsGhee

Cooking Instructions

    Wash fish and marinate with turmeric powder and chilli powder, salt and keep for at least 1hour

    Dry roast the biriyani masala slightly and grind as powder

  3. 3

    Soak basmati rice for 20min

  4. 4

    Keep a thick vessel, add oil and fry the fish (well done)

  5. 5

    In the same oil, add dry garam masala, fry until the aroma comes, then fry onion, chilli until golden brown, now add tomato, ginger garlic paste, mint leaves, coriander leaves, and cook until tomato mash

    Add 1: 1and half ratio water, salt, lemon juice and cover. When it start boiling, add rice.

    Cover and cook in medium flame for 15 min,

    Now arrange the fried fish on the top and add ghee, keep the dum plate, and let it cook in slow flame for another 15 min

  9. 9

    Decorate and serve the fish biriyani with mint chutney
