For the vegetarian festival, try making sticky rice parcels without filling, topped with sweet raisins. Wash fresh banana leaves and soak them in hot water to soften, making them easier to fold without tearing.

Heat a pan and add the water and sticky rice. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes. Then add the coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Cook, stirring, until the mixture is dry. Remove from heat and prepare the raisins for topping.

To wrap: Place a small piece of banana leaf on top of a larger piece. Spoon 1 tablespoon of the sticky rice mixture onto the leaves, then top with raisins as desired. Fold and wrap the leaves, sealing both ends, and secure with a toothpick.

Once all parcels are wrapped, steam for 30 minutes. Serve warm.
