I thought up a way to make a cute bento box.

If you cut the fringe with relatively shallow cuts, it will look like the flower on the left side of the picture. If you make deeper cuts, it will look more like the flower on the right side. You can make various kinds of flowers depending on the width and length of your cuts. Recipe by Michabi

Ingredients

  1. 1few Wiener sausage
  2. 1Egg
  3. 1 dashSalt
  4. 1 dashless than 1/2 teaspoon Katakuriko
  5. 1 dashless than a teaspoon Water

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the wiener sausages to your desired length, then make three shallow slices horizontally and vertically into one end. Brown in a skillet.

    Mix together the egg, salt, katakuriko, water (mix the katakuriko with the water first). Make 1 sheet of usuyaki tamago.

  3. 3

    Cut the fried egg sheet to the same length as the wiener sausages. Cut slices into one end to create a fringe.

  4. 4

    Wrap the wieners with the egg and secure with a toothpick to finish.
