A tasty classic crumbled sausage made to go on my Quad Cities style pizza dough.

Ingredients

1 hour
3 pizzas
  1. 2 lbsground pork
  2. 1 1/2 tspfennel seed
  3. 1 tspground black pepper
  4. 1 tspparsley flakes
  5. 1 tsp"Italian seasoning" *
  6. 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  7. 1/2 tsppaprika
  8. 1/4 tspanise seed
  9. 1/8 tspground red pepper flakes

Cooking Instructions

1 hour
  1. 1

    "Italian seasoning" is paprika, oregano, onion, basil, thyme, coriander, garlic, black pepper, sage, and parsley

  2. 2

    Mix all ingredients thoroughly and let sit for 10 minutes, then cook on medium heat until brown and crumbly. Drain off all excess fat and let cool.

@CookMattW Thanks for the quick reply I have a regular Italian seasoning, just wasn't sure, I believe ours is McCormick, and I won't get as much malt flavor in my dough I only could find a Bobs Red Mill Artisan bread flour that has malt barley flour, but it is also much cheaper 5lbs for about 6$ so I'm gonna try that. And if you want to try a new sauce you can lookup an arriabata sauce recipe, I'm still working on my own recipe for myself, still waiting to tweak it on my next batch. I plan on adding it on here when I'm happy with it.
