Cute Madeleine

I wanted to make an original madeleine, so I made cute small sized ones.
I often make this madeleine for my family. You can add cocoa powder, matcha or tea leaves.
Arrange many variations.
In the top photo, I added matcha for half of madeleine. Add 1 teaspoon of matcha in half of batter. Recipe by Nacchi sencho

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Sieve the flour and baking powder together. Bring the eggs to room temperature.
- 2
Put the eggs and sugar into a bowl to mix in with a whisk. Then add the sieved flours to stir lightly.
- 3
Cut the butter into suitable sizes and put into a heatproof tray. Microwave for a minute to dissolve the butter.
- 4
Add the dissolved butter into the bowl that is still floury.
- 5
Mix well with a whisk until it's no longer floury.
- 6
Pour in the batter into the cups. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes at 180°C oven. I used 30 ml of cups in 100 yen shop.
- 7
It's done. Bake until it becomes your favorite color. It's rather white in the photo. Check with a skewer if it comes out clean, it's done.
- 8
After cooling, put the madeleine into cellophane for a small gift.
- 9
I baked the madeline with animal shaped silicon cups. Here are rabbits and bears.
- 10
These are normal sized madeline cups. Add the chocolate chips in the process 5.

Madeleine Madeleine
I have been thinking that, since I'm going to let the batter rest anyways, I don't really need to fold the batter. So I tried to make it by just mixing everything together and it was still tasty, and thus I settled on this easy method. The cake will not brown evenly if you use a silicone mold, so I personally discourage its use. By using a traditional mold, you will get beautifully baked madeleines. Recipe by Setsubunhijiki cookpad.japan -
Fluffy Kiwi Madeleine Fluffy Kiwi Madeleine
Lots of kiwifruit was given to us as a gift. I was thinking about what I could make with it except for jam, and I tried adding it to madeleine. The sourness of the kiwi goes well with it.The cups should be filled 2/3 full with batter. Recipe by Kogicchi cookpad.japan -

Kabocha Madeleine Kabocha Madeleine
Something I tried out for Halloween this year. They were soft on the day I baked them. Then soft and moist on the following day. Both were very delicious.Adjust the sugar depending on the sweetness of the kabocha. For the picture in step 7, I wanted a bright yellow color for a Halloween feel, so I added a bit of red food coloring. Recipe by Makunouchi cookpad.japan -
My Madeleines My Madeleines
I used to dislike madeleines (I'm not a fan with fluffy and dry baked desserts), but then I found a shop that sold moist and dense madeleines. Ever since then I've loved them. This recipe aims at recreating that store's taste. This is a recipe that I love and treasure.Mix thoroughly so that it becomes smooth and doesn't form lumps. The baking time varies depending on the mold and the oven, so adjust accordingly. I changed the type of mold and oven that I used so I've greatly adjusted the temperature. Egg Madeleine Egg Madeleine
How you make these will change based on the size of the egg, so if everything is in proportion to the egg, you can make a delicious treat without fail. Kitchen scales are rather convenient! You can reduce the sugar and butter by about 5~10 g if you like. Recipe by mini cookpad.japan -

It's an easy and simple butter cake that is great for picnics.- They are actually tastier after sitting in a plastic bag overnight than right after they are baked.- You can add cocoa powder to make a chocolate version.- If you want to make an Earl Grey tea version, omit the vanilla extract and add 1 teaspoon of ground Earl Grey tea leaves.
