Cooking Instructions
- 1
Pulverize tea leaves in a blender or similar. In order to pulverize them evenly, pulse for 3 seconds, shake the blender, rest, and repeat several times.
- 2
If the powder seems too coarse after blending, or if you don't have a blender, grind it up in a grinding bowl with a pestle. Sift the powder, and keep grinding up any coarse bits to make a fine powder.

The Best Tea Rice Using Matcha Tea Powder The Best Tea Rice Using Matcha Tea Powder
These days "tea rice" means rice that is tea-colored, cooked in soy sauce and sake or mirin, not actually cooked with brewed tea. But I thought that rice cooked with matcha should be colorful and delicious, so I tried it out.You can taste the matcha flavor better when the rice is cool. The fragrance that fills your senses when you take a mouthful of rice is really delicious. Don't add the individual seasonings to the rice directly, but mix them well together first. I bought a food mill, and wanted to try making green tea leaves into a powder. The result wasn't great for using in drinks such as matcha au lait, so I tried using the powder to make a cake!* I used 2 boxes of DARS brand white chocolate.* Substitute matcha if you don't have a food mill.* There are no special hints, but make sure you chill it well for a dense, richer texture. No-Waste Powdered Tea! No-Waste Powdered Tea!
A friend of mine heard that if you turn tea leaves into powder, you can make a huge amount of tea from it. It sounded like it would be good for you, too, so I tried making it.If you keep the blender running continuously, the motor will heat up. Be sure to stop it from time to time. The tea leaves turn very fine and become much more fragrant. To make tea with a tiny amount of the powdered tea leaves, mix very well after adding the powder to hot or cold water. Recipe by Myuu samada cookpad.japan -

My husband and I both love matcha ice cream. I always make my own milk ice cream, and tried it with matcha. It was really amazing, so I uploaded the recipe! This ice cream tastes best when it's just starting to melt and get creamy. Yields 4 servings. (Recipe by Hidamari luster)P.S. If you want to give the ice cream a sorbet-like texture, add more milk. I always use light brown sugar to add richness to the ice cream. cookpad.japan -

To be honest, I wanted to eat matcha castella cakes, but I was too lazy.Mix reeeeeeally well when making the dough.Although this recipe uses granulated sugar, the powdered matcha makes it rather mild, to suit an adult palate. To please children, add more sugar or serve with condensed milk, brown sugar syrup (kuromitsu), or kinako soy flour. For 8 x 17 x 6 cm [3.1 x 6.7 x 2.4 in] loaf pan. Home-Grown Fresh Green Tea: How to Process Freshly Picked Green Tea Leaves In a Microwave Home-Grown Fresh Green Tea: How to Process Freshly Picked Green Tea Leaves In a Microwave
I don't have tea fields, I just have some tea trees planted around our house... One time, I picked some of the leaves and made them into tea for my children to use for a tea party - and what do you know, "Wow, delicious!" was the reaction. Ever since then, I make sure to make some tea when it's new harvest season. Maybe every tea tree has its own unique fragrance? The tea I make from my own trees has its own delicious fragrance that we can't get from storebought tea leaves.Around about mid-May, hairy caterpillars will start appearing in the tea trees. So if you are going to pick the leaves, it's best to do so before then. When picking the leaves, some will have insect poo on the back. Don't pick any dirty leaves!Spider webs are OK if they're just washed off! They're a sign that the leaves have no pesticides on them. Apparently, spiders don't make webs on tea leaves that have been sprayed with pesticides. For 1 batch of leaves. Recipe by Fucchi cookpad.japan -

Black Soybean Matcha Tea Okara Cake Easily Made With Pancake Mix In a Rice Cooker Black Soybean Matcha Tea Okara Cake Easily Made With Pancake Mix In a Rice Cooker
This is a version of "Black Bean & Okara Cake (Matcha & Kuromitsu Flavour)" -made with pancake mix. I revised the recipe after winning some sweetening black beans. If you use plain boiled beans, it will be less sweet and nice to serve with dinner. If you use matcha tea latte powder (use 2 sticks worth) instead of plain matcha tea powder, reduce the brown sugar syrup by half to adjust the sweetness. For made in a 5.5 cup capacity rice cooker. Recipe by tearstar cookpad.japan -

How to Brew Green Tea How to Brew Green Tea
I actually used to be really bad at brewing tea. It was usually too strong or too bitter, but I learned how to brew tea properly at the store where I work, and it was a revelation!!This is how they do it at the restaurant where I work. If you are from a tea growing area, or you have studied tea ceremony procedures, you may think it's blasphemous! Please forgive me. But the tea that is brewed this way has a beautiful color, and is delicious and and not bitter at all. Plus, it doesn't get too diluted even if you add ice. Recipe by Tomonchicchi cookpad.japan
