Foolproof and super easy scones! I had some leftover chocolate, so I decided to bake it into scones for breakfast. Everyone in my family loved it! It's still delicious without the chocolate or maple syrup. Recipe by Manachata.

Ingredients

  1. 100 gramsflour
  2. 1 tspbaking powder
  3. 1 Tbspsugar
  4. 1 1/2 Tbspvegetable oil
  5. 2 Tbspmilk
  6. 1chocolate bar
  7. 1 Tbspmaple syrup

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 400°F/200℃. Combine and sift the flour and baking powder.

    Mix together the flour, baking powder, and sugar. Add the vegetable oil and mix.

  3. 3

    Break up the chocolate. Add the chocolate and maple syrup and mix.

  4. 4

    Mix the milk in a little at a time.

    Mix until it all comes together. Form into a ball of dough.

  6. 6

    Press down into a 2 cm/1 in thick disc and cut into eighths. (Here's how big the slices should like, compared to a teaspoon.)

    Bake in an oven at 400°F/200℃ for about 15 minutes.
