Ingredients

  1. Vegan chickpea balls:
  2. 1 canchickpeas (400g)/ beans
  3. 1/3 cup (85 ml)sunflower seeds
  4. 1/2 cup (125 ml)oatmeal flakes
  5. 1 tbspflax seeds
  6. 2 clovesgarlic
  7. 1small onion
  8. 1,5-2 tbspsoy sauce
  9. 1 tspdried marjoram/basil
  10. 1 tsppaprika powder
  11. 2 tbsptomato purée/sauce
  12. bread crumbs
  13. salt
  14. oil for frying
  15. ✅ Side dish: Spaghetti tomato sauce
  16. 1red bell pepper
  17. 500 mltomato sauce of your choice
  18. fresh/dried basil
  19. salt
  20. oil

Cooking Instructions

30-45 min
  1. 1

    Grind sunflower seeds, oatmeal, and flax seeds. Add it to the chickpeas. Grate onion and garlic. Add soy sauce, paprika powder. Add marjoram, salt now blend everything together. Add a bit of tomato sauce and blend everythin. Form small balls and coat them in bread crumbs. Bake them on parchment paper for 20 min on 200C/392F.

    Serve them with spaghetti and tomato sauce.
