Ingredients

  1. Country bread
  2. 4 clovesgarlic
  3. Smoked paprika
  4. Salt
  5. Olive oil
  6. 4eggs
  7. Slicessheep cheese
  8. 4 1/4 cupswater (1 liter)

    Make a cut in the garlic cloves; no need to peel them. Fry them in a little olive oil in a pan until well sautéed.

    Add the bread, preferably from the day before, cut into not-too-large slices. Sauté everything together.

    When the bread is golden, add the smoked paprika, a pinch of salt, and water. Let it cook for 15 minutes on low heat.

    Finally, add the eggs and cover with a lid to poach them for two minutes. Sprinkle a little salt on top.

    Serve in a bowl, placing the egg on top and slicing the sheep cheese over it. Enjoy! 😋
