Ingredients

4 hrs or 2 hrs
5 people
  1. 2.5 kgbiryani cut chicken (boilers or cookrel)
  2. 1.5 kgdavat basmati rice
  3. 100 gmbiryani masala
  4. 1/2 Tsptermaric powder
  5. 4 tspchilli powder
  6. 3 tspcoriander powder
  7. 1 Tspgaram masala
  8. 1/2 cupall raw spices (shaha jeera,tej paan,badi illachi,etc.)
  9. Handfulcoriander leaves and mint leaves
  10. 4big Fried onions
  11. 5 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  12. 6 tbsp Oil
  13. 1 tbsp ghee
  14. to tasteSalt
  15. As neededFlour dough for covering the lid
  16. As requiredFood colour optional

Steps

4 hrs or 2 hrs
  1. 1

    Wash the all chicken add the children in same cookware were you cooking the biryani (botom should be thik)

    Add shaha jeera 1 Tsp, coriander leaves and mint leaves, Ginger garlic paste then mix it

    Then add all spices turmericpowder, chilli powder, biryani masala all,fried onions

    Add curd salt mix it and add oil keep this for a long marination 1 hour

    Take the rice and soak in mater for 1/2 hour start this process directly after marination

  6. 6

    Take a big cookware for boiling the water add water in it

  7. 7

    Then add 1 Tsp ginger garlic paste,all raw spices,add 1/2 Tsp ghee and 1 spoon oil

  8. 8

    When the water comes to boil add all soked rice when

  9. 9

    Cook the rice 50 to 60 % (how to check the rice : the whiteness in the rice is gone then the rice is half cooked

  10. 10

    Strain the rice with the help of strainer or spider and directly add this in chicken which is marinated

    Then add colour in water then add in rice coriander and mint leaves,fried onions

    Cover this with a lid and like this and on the flame after this process for 20 to 25 minutes

    Serve it hot
