Healthy Beef and Vegetable Rolls Healthy Beef and Vegetable Rolls
I wanted to eat beef teriyaki, but thinly sliced meat was on sale so I decided to make vegetable rolls. I added konnyaku on a whim, but it has a nice texture and was a good addition! I made the teriyaki sauce with a ketchup base to suit my boyfriend's tastes. These are packed with veggies and are really delicious, so I'm going to make them again. The fillings are cooked in advance, so even if you stuff the rolls so much it's properly cooked and flavored all the way through. The key is the konnyaku that's rolled with the vegetables! It has a nice texture! The asparagus tastes rich and delicious! This is great for osechi (New Year's feast food). For 6 rolls. Veggie wrap Veggie wrap
When I first started eating a vegan diet I lost a lot of weight very quickly. The main reason for this was that I didn't know what to eat. I have been trying to find easy quick snack ideas to take for lunch or make at home on the go. This one was just a mix of things I found on the shelf and turned out really good. You can mix any veggies you have, I haven't found one that doesn't taste good yet. Jeff -
Vegetarian California Rolls Vegetarian California Rolls
I made this for a vegetarian New Year's party. This is a California roll without the crabmeat. I made it so that the seaweed swirl looks like a "9" for the year 2009!Try it with whatever fillings you like, such as crab, mentaiko, cucumber, flying fish roe and bell peppers. It also looks pretty if you use black sesame seeds, aonori seaweed or furikake instead of white sesame seeds. Recipe by ryna_barbiegirl cookpad.japan -

Veggie and Italian Spring Rolls For Vegans Veggie and Italian Spring Rolls For Vegans
I once saw a celebrity's wife making Italian spring rolls (with ham) on TV. Here's my even healthier variation. It's really popular amongst the girls. When serving men, it might be better to include ham, cheese, and tomato like the one I saw on TV.Unless you put the potato on the bottom, the water from the tomato will break the wrapper when folding it in. Be careful! The filling may be eaten as it is, so just make sure the wrapper is cooked enough when frying. The calories for oil equals the amount of oil absorbed by the ingredients. This time, I calculated at 10% compared to regular fried dishes. Recipe by Yukoai_yukoi cookpad.japan -

Egg roll Egg roll
Follow me in Youtube: Albee Charis PonioTamagoyaki is one of Japans version of omelette. Tamago means egg and yaki means grilled. The ingredients are pretty simple and making it is rolling the egg mixture like a log shape. I would be honest, it wouldnt be easy at first but once you get the hang of it, youll become master in rolling hehe. Even how thin the layer would be :)For this recipe i added cheese in every layer to add flavor. And we love cheese :) this might not be the common practice but I added milk to lighten the mixture and for added calcium! Aside cheese, you can also add nori, vegetables or even meat. And by the way, I am using a round non stick frying pan and its possible! You dont have to use the rectangular one. This has been my go to breakfast meal when my boys like some eggs for breakfast.
