Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 2onions
  2. 2tomatoes
  3. 250 gmsgreen sprouts or matki
  4. 3 tsp Shreded dry coconut
  5. 3 podsGarlic
  6. 1 tsp rai and jeera
  7. 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  8. 1 tsp Garam masala
  9. 1 tsp Goda masala
  10. 1 tsp Misal masala
  11. 1/2 tsp Haldi
  12. as per tasteSalt
  13. as requiredOil
  14. as neededPav
  15. As neededFresh coriander for plating.
  16. As requiredButter
  17. 1 big bowlFarsan (mixed chiwda)

Cooking Instructions

    Fine chop the onions tomatos garlic

  2. 2

    Grind the shredded coconut woth garlic to a coarse paste

  3. 3

    Take a pan add some oil and put some rai and jeera to once they splinter add the chopped onions and tomatoes and saute for about 5 mins

  4. 4

    Once onions and tomatoes are sauted add the coconut paste and saute

  5. 5

    In a separate bowl mix a spoonful of red chilli powder, misal masala,dhaniya powder,haldi, garam masala,goda masala and salt.
    Incase you like it spicy you can add more of the masalas

    Once you smell the flavours of.the masalas you can add the boiled green sprouts and about 3 glasses of water about 300 ml. The constitency of this receipe should be watery

    Cover it with a lid and allow it boil for a few mins

    In the mean while you can head a pan and add some butter to saute the pav as per required..

  9. 9

    For the plating.. take a bowl put the matki tari as its called traditionally then add some farsan onions tomatoes and sqeeze a bit of lemon on it
    And enjoy it with the buttered pav.
    You can accompany it with a bowl of curd as well
    This receipe is mainly for people you love it hot and spicy
    Addressed as zanzanit in marathi
