I had a craving for oyako-don, so I came up with this dish which does not use rice or chicken, but has a similar taste.

Steps

In a small pan, add all of the ○ ingredients and bring to a boil.

Add the tofu while crushing it with a spoon into the pan and simmer over medium heat for about 3 minutes.

Swirl in the beaten egg. When it comes to a boil again, turn off the heat.

Add any of your favorite greens, such as mizuna greens or mitsuba (Japanese parsley) if desired, and enjoy!
