Easy Komatsuna Namul Easy Komatsuna Namul
My husband is Korean. I adapted a recipe I learned from my mother-in-law when we were living in South Korea (they make it with spinach. Komatsuna is not sold there apparently).Namul made with leafy greens is the most standard type of namul eaten in Korean families. It's easy and delicious, so I make it a lot.My mother in law used plastic gloves for this, but I used a plastic bag to save on washing up.In South Korea they boil the greens whole, squeeze them out and cut them up later. (Small spinach leaves are sometimes removed from the stems, boiled and eaten on their own.) Recipe by sarahkawa cookpad.japan -

Inari Sushi with Minced Meat and Bamboo Shoots Inari Sushi with Minced Meat and Bamboo Shoots
I was taught how to make bamboo rice without the bother of pre-boiling the bamboo, and I arranged it into inari-style sushi. It's just perfect to bring in a lunchbox to a Hanami party, as it tastes delicious, even cold!At Step 4, you only need the liquid of the daikon radish. Use around 150ml and the same amount of water. You can use the grated daikon radish for another dish. This time I used the rice for inari-sushi,but of course you can serve as it is. Recipe by yaburie cookpad.japan -

Amberjack Teriyaki with Balsamic Vinegar + Smashed Nagaimo Yam Amberjack Teriyaki with Balsamic Vinegar + Smashed Nagaimo Yam
I don't like amberjack (buri) as a rule, but I couldn't forget the amberjack dish I tasted at a traditional ryokan (inn) at a hot spring in the Nasu region in Nagasaki. So I arranged it to my liking and my family loved it.If you are using the belly meat of the amberjack, there may be lots of fat rendering from the meat, but it wouldn't be tasty if all of this fat renders out, so try not to cook too long. The yam turns brown after some time, so if you are planning to keep it for a while, add just a tiny bit of vinegar. For 1 slice. Recipe by Kechauru recipe cookpad.japan -
Chanchanyaki Style Salmon Chanchanyaki Style Salmon
Salmon is a fish that's full of good nutrients that have antioxidative properties. It's great for keeping your skin beautiful, combatting fatigue, and prevent you from becoming overweight.A lot of moisture will come out of the vegetables, so you can thicken it with a little katakuriko dissolved in water if you like.If you are watching your salt intake though, I recommend not using katakuriko since thickening the sauce will make you take in more of it, and more salt.Add some seasonal vegetables or mushrooms to taste.
