Cooking Instructions

Wash the urad dal and soak it for 2-3 hours, then drain. Grind it into a very fine paste using a blender.

The paste should be very smooth. Add food color and whisk well.

The batter should be medium thick. Now, put the batter into a piping bag. Add sugar to a pan.

Add water to the sugar and bring it to a boil, then add lemon juice and make a syrup.

Add oil to a pan and heat it to medium. Use the piping bag to pipe the batter into the oil to make jalebis. Once the jalebis are crispy, dip them in the syrup and remove them with a large strainer to drain excess syrup.

Delicious homemade urad dal jalebi is ready to serve.
