Ingredients

4-5 servings
  1. 200 gramsPaneer
  2. 1/2 cupCurd
  3. 1 tbspBesan (dry roast)
  4. 3-4 tbspMustard Oil
  5. Marination
  6. 1 tspKashmiri red chilli powder
  7. 1 tspChat Masala
  8. 1 tspGaram Masala powder
  9. 1 tspKasuri methi
  10. 2 pinchTurmeric
  11. 1 tspCumin powder
  12. 1” ginger (paste)
  13. 1medium Onion
  14. 1medium Tomato
  15. 1small Capsicum
  16. as per taste Salt
  17. Gravy
  18. 1small Onion
  19. 1medium Tomato
  20. 1bay leaf
  21. 1dry red chilli
  22. 3cardamom
  23. 2-3green chilli
  24. 1/2 tspGaram Masala
  25. 1 tspChat Masala
  26. 3/4 cup- 1 cup Water
  27. as per taste Salt
  28. 1/2 tspSugar

Cooking Instructions

    Assemble all ingredients for marination, cut veggies into cubes. Remove seeds from tomato. Take hung curd.

    Cut paneer into cubes.

  3. 3

    In a mixing bowl add curd + Besan + all mentioned marinade spices and mix well.

  4. 4

    Now add all diced veggies + paneer and mix very nicely, make sure that paneer is coated well with the masala. Keep in rest for around 1 hour.

    In moderately heated pan add oil, fry marinaded paneer pieces.

    Assemble all ingredients for gravy.

    Fry the marinated paneer and veggies and keep aside.

    In moderately heated pan add oil, add all dry spices and allow to crackle, then add onion and sauté till pinkish, then add ginger garlic paste and sauté till rawness disappear. Add tomatoes and stir fry for 1-2 minutes.

    Then add chopped tomatoes and sauté for 1-2 minutes, then add all spices and stir fry till spices leaves oil.

    Now add the left over curd mixture (marinade mixture) by adding water and give a good mix. Cook for 4-5 minutes.

    Now add paneer + veggies+ sugar and cook for 3-4 minutes. Paneer Tikka Masala is ready.

    Serve with paratha/ naan / kulcha and enjoy.
