Bhindi aur Arvi Gosht ka Sherwa

This is an interesting twist by me to the famous Hyderabadi speciality or to say everyday cooking with Bhindi or Okra on the one hand and Colocasia or Arvi on the other hand.
What I did in this amazing twist is that I combined both these slimy Veggies in one single Curry.
The entire recipe remains the same and absolutely authentic as much too. This Sherwa is usually made with or without Lamb or Beef. Not only with the meat alone, it can also be used with just the Lamb bones as well that one can easily procure from the butcher's shop. And both the ways, it's awesome.
In this particular version, I have used Lamb Bone-in along with both Bhindi and Colocasia.
Serve it piping hot alongside many other famous dishes of Hyderabad like Tala huwa Gosht, Kheema Fry, Dum ka Kheema, Kuchla huwa Gosht etc as well as Sun Dried Kababs.

Steps
- 1
Heat Oil in a pressure cooker. Add Ginger garlic paste and Onions both. Saute until the raw smell disappears. Now add the Lamb Bone-in along with the spices. Saute on a medium high heat. Now add Tomatoes and let them cook for a few minutes until soft and mushy on a low heat. Also add the Curry leaves.

After about 15 minutes of cooking, close the lid with little water and pressure cook for 6-7 whistles. Let the pressure settle down on it's own before opening the lid. Meanwhile squeeze out the Tamarind juice and keep aside. Add this juice to the cooker. Also add the Okra pieces. Cut each of it into 2 or 3 pieces depending upon the length. Throw in the slit Green chillies too.

Now comes an interesting twist from my side. As an innovative idea, I added Colocasia cut into two halves each also into this Curry or Sherwa. An absolutely tempting and a great way to enjoy these two slimy Vegetables together in one single Curry by me was loved thoroughly by my family.

Cover with a lid and cook on a medium high heat. Let it cook well until the consistency is semi thick. Everything should be incorporated well and should get cooked. The consistency would become semi thick. If it's too thick, add some hot water. Adjust Salt and simmer. Garnish with chopped Coriander Leaves. The gravy should not be too thick nor too watery. Serve hot with Boiled Rice and Hyderabadi Tala huwa Gosht.
