Wash and soak ¼ cup white urad dal in hot water for 15 minutes.After 15 minutes, drain the water from the dal and add the dal to the grinder jar along with ½ cup of water.

Make a smooth paste.Now in a mixing bowl, take 1 cup Rava, ½ cup Dahi (curd), and urad dal paste.

Add 1 ½ cup water and start whisking it. Add more water if required.now add salt as per your taste

Keep the batter aside for 5 minutes.Heat the tawa (griddle) and add 1 teaspoon oil. Spread oil evenly on tawa.

Turn the flame on low and pour ladle full batter on the griddle.Spread the batter evenly in a circular shape.

Now sprinkle 1 tablespoon chopped onion, 1 tablespoon chopped tomatoes, and some chopped green chillies Also, sprinkle 1 teaspoon chopped coriander leaves and add ½ teaspoon oil around the uttapam.

Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame.Further, press the topping gently with spoon. It helps the topping to stick on uttapam.

Add ½ teaspoon oil on uttapam now Gently flip the uttapam and cook for 1 minute.

At last remove the uttapam from the griddle and serve ot in a plate with green chutney or sauce
