Wash ridge gourd twice and peel it. Once it is done. Then keep aside. In a pan add water and boil the ridge gourd skin for 5 minutes. Once it is done. Strain it and keep aside.

Cool it and grind it with green chilli, garlic cloves, kalonjiand salt..into a fine paste...

Heat oil in a kadai Add cumin seeds and dry chilli fry for few seconds... Then add the paste.Cook for 5 minutes or till it is dry.Once it is done. Switch off the flame.Transfer to a serving plate. Ready to serve with hot steaming rice and dal.
