Vietnamese Egg Coffee (video included)

Egg coffee was invented in 1946 by a bartender in Hanoi who whisked eggs into his coffee cause’ he couldn't find fresh milk.
The result was decadent and delicious, so he opened Cafe Giảng introduced “cà phê trứng “(egg coffee), and Hanoians have loved the drink ever since.
The taste, however, is like a sweet, luxurious and ultra-creamy dessert—the egg thickens the already-sweet drink, resulting in what's often described as liquid tiramisu. And let's face it: Is there any better way to start the day than that?☺️

  2. 2

Whipping eggs in a glass bowl - not using steel bowl because of bad smell when drinking it. Whipping until it is raised to triple volume. You can test by using a spoon. If the flow is thick, it’ll be ok. Add milk and stir well.

  5. 5

We can make another style of egg coffee by decorating 3 layers. 1st layer is adding 30ml of condensed milk. And then pouring 50ml of coffee through a spoon in order not to separate each layer. The last one is the egg cream (not adding sugar). Best served with bread. And now you can light a candle, enjoy coffee in melodious music!
