Ingredients

45 minutes
3 servings
  • 1/4 cupchopped onion
  • 1/4 cupchopped green pepper
  • 1 tablespoonolive oil
  • 15.5 ouncecan of Great Northern Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cancondensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2/3 cupmilk
  • 2 tablespoonschopped green chiles
  • 1garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoonground cumin
  • 1 cupdiced, cooked chicken breast
  • shredded monterey jack cheese and jalepeno peppers, optional

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    In a large saucepan, saute onion and green pepper in olive oil until tender.

  2. 2

    Stir in beans, soup, milk, chiles, garlic and cumin. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Stir in chicken; heat through. Garnish with cheese and jalepenos, if desired.
