Aloo parathas are Potato stuffed paratha made from whole wheat flour and stuffed with a spicy mixture of onions and potatoes. Here I have given it a twist to the routine aloo parathas by adding cheese. I Serve it for breakfast with Pickle, masala tea and butter.
Steps
- 1
Add wheat flour in a mixing bowl and make a dough by adding water slowly. Rest for 10 minutes. Then knead it again for 2-3 minutes.
- 2
Peel and mash boiled potatoes. Add chopped onion, coriander leaves, green chilli and grated ginger. Mix well. Grate and add cheese cube in this mixture. Now add all the dry masale and mix well. Stuffing is ready.
- 3
Now take a portion of dough and make a ball. Roll it with the help of rolling pin. Apply cooking oil on it. Now place a portion of stuffing over it. Seal it by bringing edges to the centre. Roll again.
- 4
Heat a griddle. Place the paratha over it and roast on medium flame for 2 minutes. Flip the side and roast from other side also for 1 minute. Now apply cooking oil on it
Flip and apply oil on this side too. Roast till it turn golden brown. Like wise make all the parathas. I have prepared 4 parathas with this. - 5
Serve hot with butter, masala tea and pickle.
