An easy one pot dish for any day with a simple twist of Kasuri Methi in it by me. This Vegetarian dish can be relished with both Rice and Rotis. Made with easily available pantry staples, this is one of the most simplest dish too. Almost every Week, I do make it a point to go with one for mealtimes especially on a Weekend or even for the Lunchbox.
Though the preparation process might seem too simple or easy, what matters is the taste. And it does taste yum. And with Potatoes added, you are rest assured about the flavour too. The best part is that it gets done quickly too. Absolutely delicious to the last bite. This Masala dish is for keepsake. You will love it every bit and would want to make it more and more. At least once a Week or even twice if desired. Kasuri Methi lends it that innate charm as well.
This one is my family's favourite. Try it out and experience it's unique taste and texture for yourselves.

If desired cook it for a little longer duration if you prefer it to be too soft. Otherwise, it is done in just about 20 minutes in all. Halfway along, add Kasuri Methi. Mix well and cook until done.
