Ingredients

30 minutes
2 servings
  • 2 cuppearl millet flour
  • 1 cupgreen methi leaves
  • 1/4 cupgreen coriander
  • 1/4 cupgreen onion leaves
  • 4 tspgreen onion bulbs chopped
  • 2 tspchopped green garlic
  • 2 tspginger chilli paste
  • 1/2 cupcurd
  • 2 tspwhite seasame seeds
  • 1 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsphing
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tspjeera
  • 1 tspajwain
  • 1 tspbaking soda
  • as per taste Salt to taste
  • as required Water
  • as required Oil / Ghee to shallow fry

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a big bowl. Add bajra flour, mix all ingredients in it, except soda. Add water to make pouring constituency Mix well. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

    Now heat a pan. Add baking soda in bajra batter.Mix well, it will turn light and fluffy. Sprinkle seasame seeds in each partition. Now pour a small ladle of batter in each pan cake partitions. Apply oil / ghee on sides. Cook it till turns crispy. Sprinkle seasame seeds on uncooked sides of pan cake, now flip the side, again dizxle oil or ghee. Cook it well.

    Make all bajra chamchamiya in same manner. Serve With hot tea / coffe, chutney, raita, pickle, chillies. Choice is yours.
