Ingredients

  1. 250 gmbrinjal
  2. 1 cupfresh pigeon peas
  3. 1big size onion
  4. 2Tomatoes
  5. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  6. as per requirementOil
  7. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  8. 1 tspcumin
  9. 1 tspturmeric powder
  10. 1 tspred chilli powder
  11. 1 tspgoda masala(garam masala powder)
  12. 1 tbspfinely chopped coriander leaves

Cooking Instructions

    Cut brinjal in medium size pieces and soak in water and keep aside till other preparation done

    Now heat oil in a pan

  3. 3

    Add mustard seeds and cumin

  4. 4

    Once it starts crackling add chopped onion

  5. 5

    Saute till it turns translucent

  6. 6

    Now add ginger garlic paste,saute till its raw smell goes

  7. 7

    Add finely chopped tomatoes, cook for 2,3min till it becomes soft

  8. 8

    Now add all the dry spices, combine everything well and cut brinjal and fresh green pigeon peas

  9. 9

    Mix well,cover and cook till brinjal gets cooked

  10. 10

    Now add one cup of hot water, again cook for 5min

  11. 11

    Now turn off the flame, sprinkle finely chopped coriander leaves

  12. 12

    Serve spicy gravy with chapati

    Here I have served sole bhaat(pulav), kadhi,boondi ladoo, chapati,salad and sole vange curry. Enjoy
