Homemade Cake Rusk 🍃🌷🍃

My kids favorite snack. I tried it at home for the first time.
Steps

In a bowl add butter and sugar, whisk well until fluffy.

Add eggs, one by one whisk well after every addition.

Place sifter, add flour and baking powder, sift together and whisk until well combined.

Add essence and yellow food color and whisk well.

In a greased mould pour the batter and bake at 180⁰ for 40 to 45 minutes.

After baking allow it to cool then cut the slices.

On baking tray place butter paper and arrange the slices on it. And bake again for 20 minutes on 180⁰.

Take out the tray flip the slices and bake again for more 20 minutes.

Allow them to cool completely. Once cooled, the rusk will be crunchy and crispy and store them in airtight container.
